On 11 December 2025, Yuyan Cao, PhD student at Lund University and within the 6GTandem project, successfully completed her mid-way PhD review, marking an important milestone in her doctoral research.
Her research has already demonstrated strong progress in the design, fabrication, and measurement of antennas for sub-THz radio units, a key technology area for future 6G systems.
This work is being carried out in close collaboration with 6GTandem partners, in particular Infineon, Ericsson, and Chalmers, highlighting the project’s strong industry–academia cooperation.
The 6GTandem team congratulates Yuyan on this achievement and looks forward to the continued development and impact of her research.
